Trainee Compressed Air Engineer
About the Role
We're looking for a motivated Trainee Compressed Air Engineer to join our team. This role is ideal for candidates with a background in electrical or mechanical engineering who want to build a career in the compressed air industry. It's also a great fit for ex-military personnel looking to transition into a hands-on technical role.
You'll receive extensive on-the-job training from our experienced engineers, working across a range of compressor brands and customer sites nationwide.
Responsibilities
- Perform planned preventative maintenance and compressor servicing on compressors and compressed air systems
- Respond to equipment breakdowns, diagnose faults, and complete repairs
- Identify necessary parts and coordinate with the service team
- Assist with compressor installations and commissioning
- Maintain accurate service records and reports
- Build strong working relationships with customers
What We're Looking For
- Background in electrical or mechanical engineering (qualifications or hands-on experience)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Full UK driving licence
- Eagerness to learn and develop within the industry
